One body. One plan. Built around yours.

Plait goes deep on six chapters of women's health: pregnancy, breastfeeding, perimenopause, menopause, PCOS and endometriosis. Tell it what's going on and the plan is built around it, instead of around an average of everyone else.

The six Plait goes deep on

Six conditions, built deep.

Not a long list of tags that all lead to the same template. For each of the six, here is what the plan actually does: the targets it sets, the questions it asks, and how meals get chosen.

  • Perimenopause

For the stage where the old rules stopped working. The plan starts from the body you have now.

    • Protein-forward meals to protect muscle, with bone and heart-minded choices
    • Tracks energy, mood, sleep, weight and cycle
    • Hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog: every symptom you pick gets a chart of its own
  • Menopause

Menopause, postmenopause and surgical menopause are different starting points, so the plan asks which one is yours.

    • Protein-forward, with bone and heart-minded meals
    • Steady meals rather than crash diets
    • Tracks energy, mood, sleep and weight
  • Pregnancy

Targets built around your trimester, not a one-size 'eating for two'.

    • Tracks weight, iron, folate and energy as the weeks move
    • Meals chosen around your plan and everything you avoid

Expecting twins? The plan adds 300 kcal a day.

Gestational diabetes come up? It holds a carb floor of 175 g a day instead of cutting carbs.

  • Breastfeeding

Feeding a baby is a real demand on your body. The plan counts it.

    • Asks how you feed (exclusive, mixed, pumping or weaning) and plans energy around it
    • Tracks energy, protein and iron

Periods returned? Your iron target moves from 9 to 18 mg.

  • PCOS

PCOS is not one body. The plan refuses to guess about yours.

    • Blood-sugar-steady meal choices
    • Tracks glucose, cycle, weight and carbs

Had your glucose checked? If it came back fine, your carbs stay at the general split. Until the plan knows, it keeps the steadier lower-carb split rather than guessing.

  • Endometriosis

Most nutrition apps have never heard of it. Plait builds the plan around it.

    • Cramping, bloating, fatigue: each symptom you pick becomes its own tracked chart, logged next to your meals
    • Meals scored against your whole profile, including anything else from the six you carry
    • Tracks the markers you choose from all 27

Built on The Menopause Society, ADA and NHLBI guidance.

Questions generic apps never ask

It asks before it assumes.

You saw some of these on the cards above. Two more, because the honest answer should change the plan, and in Plait it does, the moment you give it.

Losing weight without trying to?

The plan switches to maintenance and will not run a deficit.

Appetite gone?

Meal scoring flips to favour small, protein-dense meals over three big plates.

Per-symptom tracking

Every symptom you pick gets its own chart.

Plait tracks 25 symptoms, hot flashes to brain fog to bloating. Each one you choose becomes its own tracked marker with its own chart, sitting beside your food log and the 27 health markers you can already track. Not a note lost in a diary. A line you can actually watch.

Six on offer. 45 conditions in the knowledge base behind them.

Onboarding offers exactly six on purpose: they are the ones the plan is built to go deep on. The wider knowledge base is the depth they draw on, and it is why Plait knows the difference between a plan for PCOS, a plan for perimenopause, and a plan that respects both at once.
